Peter Gibbs
Master
Peter Gibbs joined the Company in 1964. He is the youngest son of Geoffrey Charles Gibbs, Master in 1972. Educated at Wellington College, he became a Chartered Accountant in 1968 and is now retired. Peter is married to Jan and they are currently living in Wimbledon. His hobbies are Golf, Bridge and Classical music: he is studying for an Open University degree in Humanities specialising in Music.

Captain Paddy Watson Royal Navy

Captain Paddy Watson joined the Company in July 2006 after 37 years in the Royal Navy. His sea appointments included 2 years as second in command of a fast patrol boat in the Royal Danish Navy and command of a patrol boat squadron in Oman, where he was awarded the Sultan's Distinguished Service Medal. He saw war service in the Falklands as operations officer of HMS ACTIVE. Subsequently, he served as second in command of the frigate HMS APOLLO and, later, in command of HMS AMAZON. Promoted Captain in 1996, he spent 3 years as Head of Maritime Intelligence on the Defence Intelligence Staff. He then served as Chief of Maritime Operations, NATO Headquarters, Naples. His final appointment was UK Defence Adviser in Brunei, where he was responsible for the UK/Brunei defence relationship. Married to Fitty, he lives in Norfolk with 3 children plus assorted dogs and horses.

Peter Booker
Beadle
Peter spent 25 years with the Band of the Coldstream Guards, retiring in 1996 with the rank of Warrant Officer. During his service he travelled worldwide with the band. He also took part in the Lord Mayor's Procession on three occasions and played at functions in the Mansion House and Guildhall.

Prior to joining the Pewterers' Company he was Performance Co-ordinator at the Royal College of Music, where he met and worked with some of the world's most eminent musicians, including Sir David Willcocks and the late Sir George Solti. Peter is married to Carol, who hails from California. He met her ten years ago when she came to Wellington Barracks in search of Trooping the Colour tickets and they were introduced my mutual friends. Peter also has three grown-up children from a previous marriage.

Peter took the Beadle's ancient oath of service to the Company on 13th December 2000.

Bryan Saunders
Assistant Beadle
Bryan Saunders comes from an eclectic background which includes freelance archaeology, voluntary museum work, sound and lighting for various musical functions including some very large household name bands and over 20 years of Youth Work!

His myriad of interests include amongst others; genealogy, ancient history, paranormal research, art, art history, music, theoretical physics and martial arts.

He is an ardent Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

He is currently single and has one son from a previous partner.
